-e8b58d6e1959d544Do you love the Wizard of Oz? Like to write? This contest is for you!  It is time for the 6th annual “Royal Historian of Oz” writing contest. The contest is done in conjunction with the 36th annual Oz-Stravaganza which is June 6 to 8 in Chittenango. L. Frank Baum, author of the “Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” was born in Chittenango on May 15, 1856. The deadline to enter the contest is May 12. Entrants in this year’s contest must write a story of 400/500 or fewer words depending on the writer’s grade level.  First, second, third, and fourth prizes will be awarded in each age group. The International Wizard of Oz Club will donate the prizes.
