NBC’s Emerald City Is Changing Everything You Thought You Knew About The Wizard of Oz NBC is set to take viewers back to the world of Oz with its new fall series Emerald City, which is a new take on the iconic film, The Wizard of Oz. In the network’s fresh new take, a 20-year-old Dorthy and a K-9 police dog are swept into the mystical land, filled with lethal warriors, dark magic and a bloody battle for supremacy. Wizard of Oz lovers can expect to see familiar characters pop up in unexpected ways as Dorothy navigates her way through the magical world. E! News has your exclusive first look at the character posters for the series, including the Wizard, played by Daredevil‘s Vincent D’Onofrio, Dorothy, and some of those iconic witches (both good and wicked).
