‘LEGO Dimensions’ video game brings The Wizard of Oz, more toys to life A new video game experience called “LEGO Dimensions” combines actual LEGO brick building with interactive gameplay, similar to Skylanders, Disney Infinity and Amiibo. As TechCrunch explains, the starter pack will include a LEGO Toy Pad, which works with actual LEGO minifigures, bricks and sets to generate in-game content. It’s the first time that a LEGO video game has allowed different franchises to interact with each other in worlds outside of their own. It may also be the first time since a 1993 Super Nintendo release that Dorothy, Scarecrow and other characters created by Chittenango native L. Frank Baum have appeared in a video game.
